Good day, How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on my private email(elizabethleveques@gmail) for the full details? Have a nice day and God bless you, elizabeth
Got my Vision back from the dealer and in fact the front bearings were too tight. We also discovered that the tire gauge that came with the bike was reading higher than it should so my tires were a little under inflated. Now that both are corrected the bike rides like it should and handles great. Thanks for your reply. The Valk will be seeing less action now but I think I'll hang on to it for a while. I haven't had a chance to take the Vision on any "all day" rides and I'm a little concerned about my body (long legs and arms) will meld with the Vision. I will soon be adding a back rest which I think will help. Unfortunately we're running out of warm weather here in the MidWest.
I've had my Steel Gray for just over a month. I've read a lot of reviews and forums with Vision Riders reporting the great handling, feel and response they are experiencing. Like you I have owned a Valkyire (interstate), and a Gold Wing among many other bikes. I still have the Valk.
I would like to ask you how you compare he Vision handling to the Valk and the Wing. Both of those bikes (for me) where great handlers and though heavier feeling they still did fine in the twisties if you are an aggressive rider. I didn't have to think about making them track straight, they just felt like an extension of my being. My Vision experiences a weaving effect at times and wind or other vehicle turbulence will buffet it around as if it were a moped. It takes most of my attention and corrections to keep it on a straight line. Other times it seems ok.
I posted this problem on the Vision-Riders Tech forum and a few others have experienced this but many are saying it must be my imagination and I should just relax more when I ride the Vision.
Did you notice anything like this or did you have to change your riding style or "get used" to the Vision after riding the Valkyire?
