V92 speedometer upgrade

Has anybody upgraded from the factory speedometer cluster assembly to a newer model assembly?2001 model of V92c. I am in the process of changing to a 06' Vegas Jackpot speedometer and cluster (dummy light) setup, and need to find an adapter to go from the original harness plug in the headlight bucket to the plugs on the newer setup. Id like to avoid chopping up the harness (take plug assy. Off) . If i have to cut it i guess i will. But then i would need to know what color wire goes where. I… Continue

Time to customize... a little.

I took the baffles out a few months ago... wanting to make the bike sound like it looked... the result was great, but now it doesn't look like it sounds... time to customize.

Rebuild rear wheel with 5 inch rim, lace with s/s spokes, put on 180mm Indian rear tyre. That's as big as you can go without major modification.

Re-lace front with s/s spokes.

Replace headlight with Judge version.

Set of comfort grips.

The bike will be in harmony, and I'll be in heaven.

Will be…

New to Victory family

Hi Everyone,

Recently became a proud owner of a Hardball. This is my first bike in the 1700cc range; after a few short rides, initial skepticism around handling the beast is gradually waning.

Having completed the interstate rego transfer, I am now planning few changes: remove the topbox, replace beach bars from previous owner with the more comfortable and better looking ape hangers and, install a power supply in the fairing.

Look forward to some great rides and advice this… Continue

Which screen for a 2013 Judge?

Well, now I worked out my notifications were going to spam...... I want to fit a screen to my 2013 Judge, ready for an 8-day Tassie trip. Not sure which way to go. Has anyone fitted a screen and if so which one? Were you happy with it?

Would appreciate anyone's experiences on this. It's a lot of money to get it wrong!

Thanks all.

a day at the drags!

One of the car clubs I'm in the Gold Coast Muscle Car Assn. organised a trip for us to the dragstrip two hours away.

As I've just finished and club registered my old '66 Chrysler Valiant 225 slant 6 , I thought it only fitting to give it a run down the 1320ft to see how it goes, As the car has been off the road since 07 and Ive just gone right over the brakes updating to a dual circuit power front disc setup, cut out and plated all the rust and resprayed in velved red…

Hows your Bike Insurance?

Right you Lot, when was the last time you checked your Insurance policy's? your Excess, Pay out figures & are your ACCESSORIES ADDED Y/N, Agreed value Changes dropping ?, etc etc etc.

We should all do this at least annually and be satisfied we are getting what we want/need out of our policy's, most of us don't and find out till the time of an accident/theft/act of God that we are totally underinsured…

Accessory power connection.

Hi, I need to wire up some led wedge lighting and I believe there is a accessory spare connector in the headlight housing. Can anyone confirm this and does anyone know if this would be ok to connect directly to or should I run through a relay via a fuse back to battery?

I think the led lighting is a minimal load.

Thanks Jeff

If you are riding around the Dungog area in the Hunter Valley I recommend lunch at a little cafe called Country Grub, it has man size hamburgers not kid size you get at maccas and is reasonably priced with friendly service, it's on the left side of the Main Street when entering from the Maitland end of town next to the NRMA, good riding, Mick

2014 Indian Chieftain Test Ride

 Day One SOLO

O.K just a quick write up I don't normally write to much Online but I'm going to about this bike. For two reasons.

1) a good friend asked for my opinion on the bike.

2) it's worth while taking the time to say just how impressed I am with the new Indian Chieftain I'm going to start with WOW this bike handles unbelievably for a heavy bike.

It has plenty of power down low. And stops better than my…
