Victory Riders Network

The online community for riders & enthusiasts of Victory Motorcycles

We all have heard about some of the different styles of Victory bike custom work and mods being done. Not only body works, engine mods, wheels, controls etc. We get owners on the site asking about different fittings and how it was achieved. How about you tell us a little about your bike, its modifications and custom works.

Custom means a lot of different interpretations to different people, to some its paint, bling, engine or complete make over from end to end. Tell us what you have done and any problems you may have had, it will only assist fellow riders in their quest to bring their personal ideas to light.

You may have a theme that you have created, you may have fitted a 300mm rear wheel, raked the forks, changed your controls, spiced up the motor. Let others know of your trials and tribulations. Put up a photo, video, what ever it takes.

Tell us who done the works, where you obtained the parts, paint work and any pit falls along the way, from the smallest mod or addition to the extreme.

My 09 Hammer Premium has had a little work done, when I 1st got the bike I intended to bling it up a little with Derby sets, forward controls and possible seat change over only. Some 4 yrs down the track and we have created an awesome looking eye catcher, based on the Batman movie theme.

The art work was selected over a 4 month period and with assistance from Shaun Farruga from Predator Custom Painting who completed the airbrushing works. You will find Predator Custom painting at and also on facebook. You will see many fine examples of his work on these sites.

On the tank is a mural of Christian Bale along with flying bats.

The side covers are the oval batman symbols as you see from the spot light used in the movie

The front guard depicts the Wayne Enterprise mono rail

The rear guard has a portrait of the penguin on the left side (Danny Devito) and on the right side is Catwomen (Michele Pfeiffer)

Multiple types of mirror's were trialled, from the Ness tear drop type (Chrome) and settle on small Bat wing type, which later contributed to a small accident. (Too small to give a good view from behind. Now it is fitted with a tear drop with built in turn signals.

The rims have been changed from the standard Hammer type to chrome "Jaggered" design, the grips are Ness flame design as is the forward controls.

The Derby set was custom made in the USA, Chrome Batman logo (oval design) , chrome battery box,

The brakes have Chrome calipers, and Jaggered rotors.

Custom made bat signal radiator shield.

Chrome Cam nut tensioner covers

Chrome Belt drive cover

Front cog half guard

Chrome hydraulic clutch lever cover

Custom Bat logo reservoir covers (Chrome) Made in the USA

Original passenger seat fly cover, airbrushed with Dark Knight image and fitted above headlamp (Wind deflector)

Bat logo valve steam screw tops.

Touring seat with stitched Bat logo (Oval and 3D logo on back rest.

Custom number plate "BATBK"

Over the project has taken 3 years and has continued changes as we go along, the bike has had success of several occasions at bike shows over the past 3 years.

Day out on the Batbike
