Hi Trevor, we have only missed the one ride with the shop, i have been about but not much riding with the A.R.group. We did a run to check out a camp spot for my daughter a month back, ended up staying at the Kevinton pub in Jamieson. The road over the top from Elidon is sealed and 45 ks of twisties. Spoke to H.D. Dave last night, he is doing route 66 in september.
To stop the vibration on the bike, get some electrical tape, cut a length of 40mm, then cut that in half so you have 2 x 40mm strips. Place them along the mounting bracket that sticks to the bike, then insert the camera mount, that should remove the vibration. Hope this helps.
I won't be there on the 27th, I will be at the Border bike fest as a judge on the Victory's if there are any in attendance. Have you tried a chest mount ($50.00) from JB hifi. Just leave the camera"s with Grant when you are finished with them mate. Won't be back on the bike for another 6 weeks, if I ride with the moon boot or any diagnosed injury that could affect my ability my insurer will not cover me.
You have a great day riding and l hope Victory mark the day with something special for the riders.
