When installing a trunk rack on your Vision...the trunk has a liner, on the lid, which must be removed for installation and drilling of the mounting holes. Here's a tip for laying out the holes. Use masking tap on the top of the lid to mark where the holes need to be drilled. When you drill the holes the masking tape also helps in making a clean hole. Be careful use a low speed drill and make pilot holes approximately 1/2 the side of the hole required. Measure twice, three times even four times to make sure the holes are lined up properly. The bolts go in on a slight angle so follow the manufacturers directions. They use a 1/4-20 bolt. I tried drilling a hole 9/32 but had to open it up to 5/16 as per manufacturers specifications.

Comment by Michael Kaczynski on September 30, 2011 at 4:58am There were dimples on the inside lid to locate the holes on my bike.
I was disappointed in the nuts used to attach the hinges.
From the factory, two spun freely and another was loose.
