Victory has had a ongoing dialog with the Victory Riders Network brainstorming on different ways to reach out to potential customers and get them to interact with Victory owners. With Victory's entry into social network marketing, we at Victory-Riders.com will continue to help and promote the Victory brand.
Our partnership began with the launch of Victory-Riders.com and has grown to a mutually supportive existence. About 6 months ago, Victory began promoting a link to our site with the hopes of directing potential customers to those that are intimately knowledgeable about their bikes - Victory Owners. We never swayed from offering criticism and critique of the brand which has given Victory-Riders street credibility, after all, we are not owned, run, or advised by Victory. Victory-Riders is a privately owned and believes the info should be free to all, not kept behind a subscription or membership fee.
Today we happily applaud Victory's entry into social networks (something I've advocated for quite some time) and will endeavor to work with them to get our users the latest news direct from Victory sources. Which brings me to the latest word from Victory (today)...
Victory has embarked on several new initiatives that have been in the planning stages over the last year. I'll let our source at Victory speak for the company:
"The first is our brand new, redesigned website has officially launched today! We are very excited with the progressive nature of the site and think that our riders and prospects will love it too.
The second initiative we are launching today is called the True American Road Trip. The True American Road Trip contest is the latest in Victory’s ongoing commitment to support the motorcycle riding lifestyle. We are inviting riders from across the country to submit a short video describing their ultimate “True American Road Trip” and why they should be given the chance to take it on a Victory Cross Roads or Cross Country. (Videos can be submitted at trueamericanroadtrip.com and will be loaded via the new victory you tube channel). 10 lucky winners will win a 2010 lease of a Cross country or cross roads! Each participant will be asked to take 4 road trips on the bikes and document them via blogging, photo, video, mapping, etc. I think this is a very unique opportunity and one that your members will be very excited about!
The last initiative is the launch of our exclusive Vegas LE. Victory Motorcycles is introducing its quickest motorcycle ever produced. The 2010 Victory Vegas Limited Edition motorcycle represents the leanest and meanest Victory ever offered. Featuring the Freedom 106/6 with Stage 2 cams, The Vegas LE pumps out 97 Horsepower and 113 ft/lb of torque. A particularly unique feature of the Vegas Limited Edition is that each owner will choose from one of four color schemes at the time of ordering. The order session begins today and will close in February. Motorcycles will be delivered in March. A total of only 100 Victory Vegas LE motorcycles will be built, each one featuring a limited edition plate on the motor. A dedicated website will go live at 11am CST [today] for consumers to order the Vegas LE – http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/vegasLE/
. There are instructions and specifications listed on the site. Ordering opens today and will close on February 15th, 2010. No more than 100 units will be built, and Victory suggests those wanting to own the quickest Victory ever produced order as soon as possible, because these bikes will be going – quickly."
So now that the the news is out, I hope to see many new members and many videos of contest applicants. We'll endeavor to post them on the Victory-Riders Network so help spread the word.
