I am planning a trip from Leeton in NSW to Perth next year with some mates.
If anyone has done the ride across the Nullarbor I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences
Especially fuel stops and accommodation.
I'll be on my 2009 Kingpin other bikes are Harley's
All riding with passengers.

Do it Rick. The roads are great, especially once you get to W.A. Observe the old saying "never go past a fuel stop". There are plenty, and all within bike range, but don't take risks. As said by others, avoid dawn and dusk. The other thing I would DEFINITELY say is.....hydrate. When you are riding you don't notice the sweat because it evaporates instantly. We were all carrying extra Powerade etc, and made it a rule to stop every 100 km for a drink. I can tell you that I drained a bottle every time! Accomodation can be a bit "how's ya father", but we didn't find anything too unpleasant. It's surprising where you'll lay your head after a day in the saddle! Enjoy.

Hey Rick. I haven't done it on the bike yet but have done Adelaide to Perth lots of times in the truck. There are roadhouses with fuel and accommodation roughly every 200kms, sometimes less. Wouldn't recommend riding at night due to kangaroos and camels. Some cool spots to stop n look along the way us the longest golf course in Southern Hemisphere between ceduna and kalgoorlie. It's on my "definitely do" list.

Yes did it a few years back, accommodation was limited try pre booking, fuel stops if your bike has around 250 k range fuel won't be a problem. Nullarbor after ceduna is boring straight road with nothing until you get to Norseman, you can go to Kalgoorlie or straight to Perth. Hope that helps a bit, as I said it was a few years back when I did it to Adelaide (2 1/2 Days depending on stops)
