So I went through 3 Harley's after my Hammer only to end up back on a Vic...bought a '14 Cross Country in November. My reasons for the return to HD and subsequent return to Vic aren't easy to explain, I guess I wondered why I ever bought the Hammer in the first place and felt like I had "betrayed" myself...I know, weird.
When I started planning to replace the '06 Ultra I was riding I really started thinking a Vision would be the ticket but it wasn't meant to be. The Cross Country worked out better and I am LOVING the ride! Now I'm questioning why I ever left Vic?!?
More to the point for me NOW though is that this is the bike that will take me on my bike ride of a lifetime! I've decided to and begun planning a ride from Florida to Alaska in 2018! As that is the year I turn 50, I thought it'd be fitting to do something grand and memorable...I've seen a bunch of ride groups that do it and it just sounds right to me. My brother-in-law, whom is also my ride partner, is planning to go as well so it's gonna be a pretty awesome trip.
At any rate, glad to be back in the Victory family and proud to be back in the fold on the Victory forums and blogs. Look forward to catching up with other riders here on the VRNetwork..ride safe everyone!
