How the customizing went...

The changes I made were all definitely for the good.

The wider back wheel makes the back of the bike look complete, filled in so to speak, and the ride is appreciably better. It's hard to explain the change in the ride, but I've just returned from a ride to Melb and rolling in and out of the curves and bends seemed to require less effort to stay on line, and indeed to change the line if needed. Time to customize... a little.

I took the baffles out a few months ago... wanting to make the bike sound like it looked... the result was great, but now it doesn't look like it sounds... time to customize.

Rebuild rear wheel with 5 inch rim, lace with s/s spokes, put on 180mm Indian rear tyre. That's as big as you can go without major modification.

Re-lace front with s/s spokes.

Replace headlight with Judge version.

Set of comfort grips.

The bike will be in harmony, and I'll be in heaven.
