Time flies by fast, it seemed just like yesterday when I was in Daytona for the start of the season. I guess as you get older and your minds ability to log data decreases it's resolution & you get the perception that time is moving much faster then it actually is. Also working 6-7 days a weeks and sometimes pulling 40+ straight days of work doesn't help either. This blog was the start of a quick over view of what I've seen over the past Six month of 08 but like I said the brains ability to… Continue

Recently I had the opportunity to try several products from Pure Victory Polishes
, specifically the Bike Wash Concentrate, Windshield Paint & Chrome Polish, and the Awesome Metal Polish. I've used their Detailing spray for several years now and am very happy with it. Now, having seen the results of the others, I can heartily recommend these products.… Continue

Have you ever noticed the signs along the road? How about the signs in restrooms? Well, I do. I find they can be interesting, informative, and entertaining. Lady Bird didn't do us any favors by taking road signs down, especially when driving across Nebraska or Kansas...
Here's one I saw in Yellowstone National Park last year...
Now, why would the highway department go to all the trouble to put up an expensive sign for a single truck?!?!? Especially when,… Continue

Continuing with my last blog post, there were many things of note at the 2008 AVR. Here are some highlights...
The number of Visions was surprising. For a first-year model, there were far more Visions at the rally than expected. The running joke was that the AVR really stood for American Vision Rally. I lost count at over 50. A quick glance at license plates placed Visions from 10 states. Some as far away as New Hampshire.
Ice Blue was the surprise color on the… Continue

Hi all from UK
As one of only three Vision owners in UK it's easy to feel a little isolated but thanks to the power of the internet, here I am, chatting like you're all just next door. I am now the proud owner of a new Vision Tour Premium, I have to admit to being a born-again-biker having recently returned to two wheels (with an 07 V-Rod) after a break of thirty years. Like everyone else here I was captivated by the thought of owning and riding… Continue

Well Lloyd didn't wait long to start another conversation, more an autobiography on his younger days. As interesting as it was, I'll let him tell you in his blog
, rather than here. If I told you, you wouldn't believe it.
I split from Lloyd near the western border of Wisconsin and made my was north to Osceola, WI. Unloading the bike from his trailer must have attracted the rain gods. No sooner had I packed up the bike, the… Continue

From Tuesday 8/12/09:
Beef Jerky and roadtrips are the foundation of mankind, or, at least one of the things you pair together when you talk motorcycle rallies. Boy, what an opening line, some explanation is needed. I’m in a ford diesel heading west, evening sun is in my eyes, and the buzz from too much caffeine is making typing difficult. It’s Lloyd Greer’s truck and we’re pulling his dyno trailer through the hills of western Pennsylvania, on our way to the Victory Rally in Spirit Lake,… Continue

Hello and welcome to my first ever blog entry. I'm sure you'll notice right away the rookiness of the whole thing and hopefully this will get better quickly.
I intend to use this space to focus on information about the Victory Highway and the Victory Motorcycle Club's Victory Highway Relay - aka V2V.

First off, Thanks again to Mike Dapper
for making a point to talk about the Victory Riders Network
as well as Vision-Rders.com
on his VRA blog
. I hope it attracts many new riders and that they enjoy what they find here. I hope to see him at the AVR next week.
Speaking of the American Victory Rally (AVR)
, I hope that many of you make a point of attending at least one of these Rallys (especially this… Continue
