Vision Center Stand

If you purchase the center stand for the Vision be prepared to spend some time loosing the muffler bolts on the crossover pipe. If you're not mechanically inclined, better to have a Victory mechanic install the stand. Anyway it bolts to the rear of the engine housing and slides in over the oil filter. You might want to wait until you change your oil to install the stand. Helps to have a Jack, see my blog on Jacks.

Vision Jack

I purchased a J&S 2,000 lb jack. After spending a few hours looking for a jack which would lift the Victory Vision I settled on the J&S because they provide shims for stabilizing the bike. I've posted two pictures for scrutiny on my Victory site. the jack world fine but it is critical the shims are placed properly. See the pictures and read the comments.

Vision Trunk Rack

When installing a trunk rack on your Vision...the trunk has a liner, on the lid, which must be removed for installation and drilling of the mounting holes. Here's a tip for laying out the holes. Use masking tap on the top of the lid to mark where the holes need to be drilled. When you drill the holes the masking tape also helps in making a clean hole. Be careful use a low speed drill and make pilot holes approximately 1/2 the side of the hole required. Measure twice, three times even four…
