I'm looking for someone really experienced and knowledgeable about front forks on Victory jackpot's. I have a 2007 Corey Ness Edition and have had the left front fork re-built 3 separate times. Two of those Victory paid for in-and-out of warranty as a courtesy. The last time the dealer completely rebuilt the fork using all new parts and seals. And after less than 2000 miles it's leaking again! Always the same exact issue in about the same number of miles. This is an occasionally riden weekend…See More
I have an 2007 Cory Ness Jackpot. After the OEM 250 Dunlop'swore out, I went to the Metzler 280's for the rear as even though they arewider - they are actually slightly rounder than the Dunlop. But after arecent trip at 85 down a twisty mountain road I found I have a center stripe ofmetal belt showing right down the middle! So now I am in the market for another new rear tire. Has anyone had favorable success with anything other than Metzler andDunlop? Does anyone know of a fitment tire…See More
I just replaced the brake pads myself for the first time on my Ness Jackpot and now I notice the retaining clip is rattling. I've tried bending the prongs to hold it tighter but it doesn't seem to stop it. Should I just keep bending them until it holds fast? Or is there something else I should try? Or maybe I missed something in doing the job? Other than this though everything brake-wise works great and it was an amazingly easy DIY. Any suggestions to stop the rattling?See More
Anyone out there with a Victory Jackpot who has a K&N Filter kit figure out a creative way to remove it for cleaning, et al, WITHOUT first having to take off the seat, and then take off the tank, just to get to the filter itself? There has to be either something I am doing wrong, or a work-around for a losy design. Anyone?See More
I need to replace the Speed Sensor on my '07 Corey Ness Jackpot. I have the Dakota Digital electronic speedo that came stock with the Ness Edition. HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER REPLACED ONE OF THESE SPEED SENSORS?If yes, how difficult is it to re-route the wiring harness? I know the sensor plugs in above the crankcase - but I have no idea what's going to be involved at the other end? I'm assuming it has to go all the way up to the headlight housing where if I am right it plugs into the speedo…See More
I have a 2007 Corey Ness Jackpot with the Victory Electronic Speedometer. The last two hour-long trips I've taken the speedometer will for no apparent reason read "zero" despite the fact that I am going 75mph. Then sometimes it will "climb up to 1,2, or 3 mph before flashing back to 0 and then back up to the speed I am really doing. As I said it does not do this all the time. For instance today on a burger run it did it on the way out, but on the return leg in which I tripled the length of…See More
Good day, How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on my private email(elizabethleveques@gmail) for the full details? Have a nice day and God bless you, elizabeth
thanks for the invite gwh. nice wheels on the vagas. i notice the oil cooler is higher up than my kingpin and wonder if the sesor wiring is different to the 08. if so that may be cousing the confusion with the wiring for the speed sensor between us. if as you say it has a coiled wire, i do not think victory would make it so you had to go all the way to the speedo, i would expect it to have a connection close by, less than 12inches.Have you bought the new one yet?
