True American Roadtrip winner Alison Lins stops by the Victory Demo
site on her Cross Country as part of her 4th road trip.
Greg Brew, head of Industrial Design at Victory Motorcycles makes
an appearance at Sturgis with his own personal bike project, a
Bobber. The bike features a Victory v92 motor and many Victory
parts. I have more photos in my VRN Victory Press Event photo
album.
8/10/2010 1:00:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time Cory Ness
Met and talked with Cory at the Victory truck and was nice enough
to sit for a picture. He then took this Ness Cross Country (#002)
off to photo shoot with his dad Arlen.

The exhibition of Motorcycles As Art features many custom built
bikes by variety of builders and great photographs by Michael
Lichter. One of the bikes in the show was Roland Sand's custom
Victory.

Jarland prepare for the rush of demo riders at the Victory Truck in
Sturgis. Our super heros answer any and all questions as they
endeavor to spread the word if Victory, "FUEL IT!"
8/8/2010 5:25:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time Early morning in Vanocker Canyon: Got out early before most
of the bikers and took leisurely ride (50+ mph) through one of the
canyons near Sturgis. The roads are well maintained and offer great
scenery.

Chris Calaprice of Road 2 A Cure riding to all 50 states to raise
money to fight pancreatic cancer. Chris was diagnosed with the
cancer 6 years ago. He and his wife have dedicated themselves to
raising money and awareness of this cancer. He needs your support.
If every biker donated just $5 each, it would help their cause
immensely. Please visit his website at http://www.road2ACure.org
8/7/2010 6:29:45 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time Sturgis Hospitality :Imagine my wonderment when this
innocent young woman held up this sign (the sign says free beer)
yet she doesn't even have enough money to afford clothes. What a
great town! She also had group of friends in the same situation
that would wash your bike at the same time you were drinking her
beer. They wanted $30 for 'sick aunt's surgery'.
8/7/2010 5:53:48 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time 2011 106/6 Kingpin :Notice the new accessory Cobra pipe.
Because the transmission is now quieter, Victory can open up their
pipes on cruiser models and still comply with SAE sound
regulations. The Cobra pipe sounds awesome without being obnoxious.
And the bike is FAST!!!!

Lead by Victory's Robert Pandya, we took dirt roads through the
mountains, tossing the bikes into the curves as if on a motocross
track.

Time
Spent today riding from Gateway CO to Ft Collins by way if Glenwood
Springs and over the Rockies via Estes Park. Swapped my white
CrossCountry for Crossroads. The Crossroads' bags were specifically
modified for this trip. Victory engineers made them into styrofoam
lined coolers for keeping beverages cold...in this case water. Each
sidebar holds at least a dozen water bottles plus a bag of ice and
even has a drain plug.
Nine bikes made the trip, some taking the direct route over the
interstates, others like myself took the scenic route over the
mountains. There was thrilling riding taking many of the twists at
60+ mph and required full concentration.. All tolled, we put on
about 450 miles today. We've landed in Ft Collins forth night and
will ride on to Sturgis tomorrow. Spirits are high and the bikes
are performing brilliantly.

Track the V2V Relay Live!!!
The 10th Annual V2V Highway Relay: June 21, 2009 to July 4,
2009 This year is the 10th Anniversary of the V2V Victory
Highway Relay, a 14 leg cross-country ride celebrating the original
Victory Highway. Conceived by Spike Durkin in 2000, the ride has
become a major annual event for the Victory Motorcycle Club (VMC).
To help support this event and spur more involvement, The Victory
Riders Network is sponsoring a special webpage to track the ride in
Real-Time! We also have enabled tools for V2V participants
themselves to share their journey from New York to San Francisco
with readers direct from the ride! A dedicated Victory-Riders group
"V2V-X" contains a Map of the relay, a Comment Wall, access to
real-time tracking (the ride captains were supplied a special GPS
tracking device for this event), as well as options for riders to
post comments, photos & video, especially for those with
smart-phones or laptops along the route: Follow this historic event
