This is a ride I hold dearly to my heart as on the 7th march last year my eldest son committed suicide as a lot of the boys know, So I am hoping for a really good turn out from the Victory riders, I hope this charity ride gets to be as big as the pink ribbon ride which is another ride I also hold close to my heart and will never miss going on. To loose one of your kids is undoubtedly the hardest thing I have had to go through in my life and I feel for anyone who has had to endure this no matter what circumstance the death was. I hope to see many of you out there supporting this charity guys and to just enjoy the ride and to reflect on or get a different perspective on suicide. Thanks boys.

Don't forget to leave the baby seat at home Paul, unless you intend to use it as a taxi if someone goes down   lmao

Hey Cam, are you coming on 1st of Feb?

You're totally correct in what you say Tony. I'm not sure that the VRN is promoted as well as it could be.

I think also that some have lost interest in the site after some of the crap that was flooding the VRN a little while ago. Hopefully they will come back sometime soon and give some good input.

Sydney could definitely learn a lot from what goes on in Melbourne. I'm looking forward to catching up with the southerners again at the Victory Rally

Paul & Cameron, Is the Sydney Victory store pushing the VRN site & membership on the point of sale of each bike? Melbourne do consistently, it's the best way to get the newbys interested in rides, groups and what's going on- if they just buy and leave without any information to get involved with the VRN if they want "& I'm sure most new buyers would" then how would they know once out the door? The difference with the Melbourne store is the VRN is mention'd regularly on sale and to add there's at least one shop ride a month which the floor sales staff mention, plus lots of other activity within the Vic riders that do other rides as well. I'm sure if there was more activity with shop rides from the Sydney store say at least 4 orginised shop rides a year it would help build a more active Victory riders community in Sydney.
Most of the shop rides in Melbourne are originized by the riders and facilitated by the shop, tail gunners, leads in some cases, BBQ coffee etc, it all works well and generally posted on the VRN and the first Saturday of the month, it's a good start for the newbys and an opertunity to meet new friends/riders and pick up on things going on elsewhere.

I'm always keen for a ride I go out most weekends somewhere even if it's alone

Think they're all hiding Dave

They have sold hundreds of Victorys & Indians in Sydney. I'm at a loss as to why there isn't more traffic on this site and more owners keen to get together for a ride?
