Home as well. Another epic journey completed. For me, 2455 total miles in 6 days. There are many memories to ponder and photos to review, but first a shower and then I hear the couch calling me.

I am home. Double accident before Hartford and one at my exit for RT 2. Figured I would go that way cause less traffic? O.o

Great time. Good to be home.

Different riding today. Pete has not come close to hitting any deer today.

Slight scare in Virginia. Low fuel light on. Plenty of gas stations but no power. Finally found a spot with power and now back on road.

After a late night of experiencing the local bar scene, the boyz are heading out in the early morning to slay The Tale of the Dragon. Spirits are high but the heat is always a factor.

Stopped for the evening in a small NC town. Everyone is cooked. We saw 115 and humid. Hotel owners are a nice old couple that went out of their way to make us happy giving us a beer even before we checked in. Then gave us a cooler full of ice for more beer. Big thanks to Peggy and David at Gracy Manor.

So. Pete almost took out a family deer. At least we would have had venison for super. But it looks like pete and Bambi will survive another day.

The Nation Inn hotel clerk in West Jefferson was a smart ass moron. Not what the people of VA would like as their hospitality representative.
