Well the pipes are stock pipes and I always wanted a little more sound but I was too cheap to take off a perfectly good set of pipes just for sound. But now that they have started to discolor I have some motivation to spend the money. I guess I will check around, for the kit, but worse case is to just buy a new set of stock pipes or buy a set that someone else took off when they installed the stage one kit on their bike.

At worst, you could have them re-chromed. Might turn out to be about the same $$ as a new set though.

Thanks Jeff,

I appreciate the info. I guess if I want one, I will have to do some research.

As far as I know, the stage 1 is no longer available. The part number has been discontinued. You might find a used set on ebay or craigslist. You should also put a post in the classifieds section of any of the riders sites (ie, vegas-riders.com). They all share the same classifieds and someone might have a set lying around.

I have a question. My Vic dealer says that he doesn't think I can get a stage one kit for my 2001 V92C cruiser from the factory. Do y'all know if I can get one from somewhere. My pipes are starting to discolor so I might as well tune up the sound a bit too. Any suggestions?

I was lucky enough to win 1s place i the stock class of the AVR Bike Show. There were plenty of beautiful Victorys there.

Since there are still many Victory Cruisers ('99-'03) still out there, I think we need a place to swap stories, tech tips, etc. But first, let's see your ride and introduce yourself.
