Comment by Glen (Minjin) Wintle on March 10, 2013 at 4:53am Hi All, in the first week of February 2013 I rode down to Melbourne and then on the boat to Tassie. I teamed up with some members from the VRN Melbourne and Tassie Group for a week's ride. There was about 24 Victory's 2 HD's and 1 Suzy plus Victory Melbourne brought ove a van with a Judge and XC Ltd for some of us to ride. It was a good week and great company from both groups. This was the 3rd time the Melbourne and Tasswegians got together for a ride.
It has been decided to do a Tassie ride every second year (odd year numbers, next being 2015) and the Melbourne group arrange a weeks ride in the even years - therefore the first week of February 2014 they are planning on a week around the Snowy Mountains.
For those that can, i suggest you start looking at your leave and monies and try to get on this ride as it will b good.
I am in constant contact with the groups and will or you can follow them on the main forum. Anyway I'll keep this information coming on this site as it gets closer.
By the way I see Scazzie and Rollies are trying to get some rides in...this will be good.
Cheers
Bugger, thanks anyway

All the best to you and family
Comment by Glen (Minjin) Wintle on December 20, 2012 at 8:27pm Hi All,
Well what an active mob we are. Let's hope 2013 will see us get together for a ride and or beer at the Victory Hotel in the city.
I am riding down to Melbourne and then Tassie in about 5 weeks time, if anyone wants to ride down.
I am doing the following:
Far Ride East No. 2 - This means I have to be a the V Tavern Nambucca Heads between the hours of 1200 to 1230pm (Lunch Time) - I am doing a 1000km trip to get there going via Goondiwindi - Armidale. I'll either leave after lunch on Friday 1st (has to be after 1230pm - show fuel docket for proof) or I will leave about 1am Saturday morning on 2nd February 2013.
After this I do not have to board the boat in Melbourne until 8th February and was thinking of looking at Victory in Sydney and Melbourne and if I have time Trevaye Motorcycle Camper Trailers in Bendigo.
Heading back I should be leaving Melbourne on the 15th or 16th Feb. 2013 and may go via the Great Ocean Road - Mt Gambier - Mildura or whatever.
I'll probably make it an IronButt Run (of 2500km in 36hours)
Anyone interested give me a call or text 0434202284, i am flexible except for those two dates the 2nd and 8th.
