Hi guys, just got back from our trip to souther ontario put on 11,000km came back through the u.s. the bike was great, unfortunately the cover for the dash became loose now i have a bad rattle, and when the bike was parked overnight and it rained the left signal light came on wouldn't shut off for 2 to 3 hours had to hold my thumb on the switch until it started to work i hope the dealer can fix both problems.

Too add... I will add pics on the Vision Riders site soon. Sorry Don I want to get to your turf but that will have to be a thing of the future... I love that! Really glad for the extra KevinX ponies on this trip. Unfortunately, I popped the front tires a few times and the helmet slaps were frequent but fun!

And now from us.... Thanks Charles for the meet up in Prince George. We did the Haida Gwaii plus round trip 5600 km of awesome from Rosetown Sk. Only moose seen was 5 k from home! If you get a chance, that is really the end of the wonderful world and should be a four corner place, ( OK make it a 7! as looking forward to Nfld. end of the world. No issues but Man..do I need an oil change!

And Hi from me. Just back from 3,500km trip down the Washington/Oregon coast then inland to Crater Lake OR, then north to Mt. Hood and back home. Bike was flawless - several romps into the 160km/hr range riding 2-up and loaded - Kevin Cross did my cams and the extra ponies are great to have when needed. I will publish some photos in the next few days. Take care.

Well, just got back from a seven day trip (3000 Kms) to Saskatoon for a GWRRA rally. Met with Mark from the local Victory dealer. Great guy! The bike performed flawlessly as I was expecting. Looking forward to many more miles on this great bike.
Cheers!

LOL.... Not to worry Don... I really do not want any heated discussions on mechanicals.... Just a quick note on my experiences. I have done a bit of research on the Vision Rider Forums.
Anyway, I am currently in St John's NL to catch the long plane ride back to the west coast on Weds.... It has been wonderful being away, and I am not really looking forward to going back to work, however, it will be nice to get back home after being away since June 25th... Take Care All!! P.S. - I was in Gander Nfld the other day and happened by the only Victory Dealer on the Island... Kind of cool finding a Victory dealer in a little out of the way place....

Crawford, I got Rec Supply out of Saskatoon to do the tires.... this really bugged me that they ripped off the sides to do it so I called... long story short, i have now educated the tire guy about swing arm bolts, have credit at Rec supply for 1.5 hrs shop time and might just , after another 20K do the Dunlop elite again. Our trip also got 'educated'.... I guess that to Queen Charlotte Island and then back same route through Prince George/Rupert is what Momma and I decided. Gerry, I have onloy used the Victory oil kit but as Don suggests, the Vision Riders group will help your decision! Take care all - back in a couple of weeks.

Just a couple of questions

For those have changed their tires, what did you get for replacements?

I have been thinking of going to a full synthetic oil, has anyone else done this? I know that the Victory Oil is a special oil for the Vision and there is reason. Just wondering if anyone uses anything different? My local dealer is a ferry ride away, so I either have to make the trip or have oil/filter changing supplies shipped to me....

Thanks All
