Wife's working next weekend so am heading to have lunch at the Amberley Hotel on Sat if anyone is keen to join me. I am going to go through Rangiora to Woodend then head up Highway 1 to Amberley, then after lunch back to Oxford via Sefton.

If anyone keen lets say 12pm at the hotel, weather permitting. Can do Sunday if wet on Sat

Thanks, did not know that. Bit nervous, first time tied down big crusier and I know the ferry can be rough sometimes. But plenty of time to sort out before december

Can anyone help with this, i am using the ferry in Dec to ride to New Plymouth,
It will be the first time i have tied down my bike. Manual say use the forks but many people and who transported my bike down used the handlebars. Which is better for stability and the bike?

Sounds like you had a good day out, my bike is down from New Plymouth so if anyone wants to catch up for lunch one weekend just drop it in a comment, sundays are better as my wife has me working in the garden most saturdays
