I have 2008 vison  122000 kms and need to replace stearing  stem top and bottom bearings. Steering is stiff and catching!!

I have a service manual, and want advise on exactly how difficult this job is. Seems a pretty involved one, remove handlebars, forks, front wheel etc etc.

Or, should I pay mechanic to do??

Thanks, Noel

If you got the tools and have a good m8 to sit with yeh and have a few beers then do it yourself otherwise give it to a mechanic. Two heads are always better than one and it makes for a good bonding moment as well.

Something we are all lacking in this modern error because its so easy to get it done by others and put it on a credit card.

Put the booze on the credit card instead... lmao.
